I have a new back up device. It has 3 cables and 3 places to put them? On the device FW 800, with a symbol beside it, FW 800 and USB2.0 which do i use? Its not clear in the instructions... Better still if anybody has the phone support number for the UK, ( have tried a few but no luck)

    You use one or the other but not both. You may use either at your discretion. However, the FW800 will be faster and will place much less burden on your processor.

    FW800 has two ports so you can add an extra FW800 device while it's plugged in. FW800 is a lot faster so definitely use one of those - it won't matter which one.
