i'm stuck on installation of disc 2, 10.4. HALP!!

during an erase/ install, disc 2 is not installing.

the installation goes up to 50 hrs and counting and then seems to crash.

I'm using the original discs that came with the computer in order to clean the HD and reinstall the original software.

I have been able to eject the disc by restarting and holding down the mouse button and the eject button.

i have also tried fsck

it still insists on me installing disc 2.

HALP!

    If you have a can of air lightly blow out the Optical drive, also check the CD and make sure there isn't a big scratch on it (that's what it sounds like).



    If all that checks out and the computer is still under a Year call Apple, they are always nice
