How do I get rid of these buttons from the Calendar App in iOS 4.3.1?

I don't have MS Exchange. I just noticed when I got a new iPhone 4 today that the Calendar App has some new additions.

    Jailbreak and screw with the code of the app itself or ignore them, I'd say.

    No I think there's a way am I'm missing it. These aren't Mobile Me features and my buddy's iPhone running 4.3.1 without Mobile Me doesn't have them.
