Maddox Badly Injured

Tommy Maddox was just driven to the hospital after taking a shot to the back of the neck...was on the field for 15 minutes before they could get him stabilized and out of there.



Kind of scary, reminds me when Barry White (I think that's his name) injured his neck a few years ago...



No links, just what I heard watching Chiefs vs. Bills.

    Watching NFL today...they said that he was knocked out and when he awoke said he felt numb...not good.

    Apparently, since the usual football people wont come in here.



    This is actually pretty serious, might be a career-ending injury for a probowl hopeful...



    I hate to see this kind of thing happen, though it seems to happen at least once a year (almost never to the QB though.)

    Finally, some good news.



    He has regained feeling in all extremities and is alert and awake, they will be keeping him overnight for observation.

    I'm glad to hear it. I'm not a steelers fan but I always hate to see someone suffer a serious injury.
