Assessing the Damage
Hey guys. My white MacBook took an unexpected fall yesterday, and sustained some minor damage (pictures below). I'm not insured/don't have AppleCare... Does anyone know what repair costs may be and how long it might take?
I've also noticed the comp is making a little sound every few seconds that sounds like a rotating hard disk... Maybe coming from the CD drive? Not sure. Anyone know what that may be and if so, what it would take to repair?

Both of them together, for perspective: http://postimage.org/image/2jwy22n7o/
Thanks in advance for your help!!

Ask the horse's mouth: Apple tech?
There's a chance you may have damaged your hard drive but they are cheap to buy now and very easy to switch in the Macbooks and you can follow the online guides.
Prices would be about $50 for the 'Macbook keyboard' (search eBay for that and match your computer model). If you need a new hard drive (make sure you do by listening close to the front-left of the machine), it will be around $50 too, give or take depending on brand/capacity.
