Charging Problems with iPhone 4
I have been using an iPod cradle to charge my iPhone 4 since i bought the phone last year. i use the iPod cradle because the iPhone 4 cradle is too small for the phone with a bumper attached. i have had no problems. i use the iPod cradle because it is large enough to insert the phone into without removing the bumper from the phone.
Now i get a message on the phone each time i try this saying i cant use the iPod cradle and that doing so will ruin the phone. This seems unlikely since i'm only charging the phone via a 110 outlet and it charges just fine. Still i'm concerned about the warning. Would using a current model iPod cradle work? One Apple tech person said they thought the PIN connection was different on the Phone than on the cradle. Still it seems to work just fine. Any ideas--
