iPod touch issues

I got several issues with my iPod Touch 2G 16GB:
  1. Turns off when I press the forward button

  2. Doesn't play any sound

  3. When I try to play a song it puts it into pause and then goes back to initial screen

  4. If I don't keep it connected to my pc it just dies

  5. Sometimes it shows volume up when I press the sleep button
