Gotta love the Telecommunications Act of '96

Been looking at speakeasy.net... simple, plain, decent cost (same as DirecTVDSL)... perfect. I run my own DNS/IMAP/SMTP/HTTP, so all the 'goodies' most people get with an ISP have been pretty useless for me.
<strong>Yeah, guess who my provider is?

Kickaha- I worked for Speakeasy.net briefly. I'd trust them. Good management. I love their static IP policy. Good luck to you.

Same here.
Not sure if speakeasy is available in Utah. am looking qwest, who are the only local land line provider here.
Anybody care to share any insights into qwest's DSL future before I make a second plunge?
my problem is , QWEST is my last mile provider. So, whichever ISP I go with I think QWEST has a hand in it. Or am I wrong?
Kichaka, did you supply your own modem? I am wondering if we get to keep the modem they supplied when directv shuts down. Would be nice, I've only had the service for a month now.
