Macbook Pro 13" with i5 shows 4 processors in activity monitor. Is this correct?

My son got a Macbook Pro 13" with the dual core i5 processors and when you go into the activity monitor, it shows 4 processors. It also shows 4 processors in menumeters.



Is this right? I thought activity monitor was supposed to show 2 processors since it's a dual core i5?

    Yes - you're seeing the two "extra" cores provided by hyperthreading.
