Could the accumulated experience o' the very practiced and diligent moderators on these boards no' be put tae good use upon the wider global situation? January seems like a guid place tae stert so I wid humbly ask the abovementioned individuals tae consider inserting their graphite control rods intae the seething reactor o' global issues.

First and foremost is that singer lassie wha comes on the television wearing next tae nothing, thrusting her bits and pieces right oot o' my screen. My wee laddie's just beginning tae tak an interest in popular music and I'm no' wanting him exposed tae such jezebalian gyrations at such tender years. I know the lassie's American so most o' you moderators will likely know her. Could ye maybe hae a wee word wi' her? Thanks.

There's plenty o' other issues too o' course, so after that could ye's maybe dae something aboot moderating the ootrageous levels o' tax I have tae pay, no' tae mention the cost o' utility bills, sweering in the cinema, crime, poverty, violence and degredation generally.

If ye could have it maistly sorted oot for Christmas I'd be very grateful.

Your humble servant...

Sir Mac o' the Isles.

Mr i Sabbah! How are ye?

You are, as ever, maist kind and gracious. I am glad tae be here again. There's a destiny that shapes oor ends they say, and it saw fit tae cause somebody tae stand on my modem plug/tranformer thingy, quite cracking it asunder and exposing me tae instant annihalation. (My equipment dates frae the early 1930s and wi' all its valves in full gallop draws 25Kv at 600 amperes ye understand). However I hae done some crude rewiring and wrapped the whole thing up in an ASDA bag, thus insulating my soul frae sudden and unexpected release, and allowing me once again tae set foot upon this hallowed hillock o' pleasantries.
