My Verizon iPhone "Drunk Dials"

My iPhone dials random phone numbers in my contact list at random times. Before it happens, I have pressed the home key and the button up top so the screen is black. Then when I open my recent call screen, sometimes I see that it has called someone without my knowledge.

Has anyone heard about this and is there a solution? It's embarrassing to find that my phone has called someone who is a business contact and all they can hear is noise in the background. Or me talking to someone else.

Backup and Restore to the latest iOS version for your iPhone. If it still happens, I suggest get a replacement unit. Good luck!

    Turn Voice Dialling off.

If you leave VD on, it will start dialling people if you hold down the home button even if it is locked and in standby.

Good idea. You may not have to turn Voice Dialling off, in Settings make sure Voice Dialling can't be activated when the phone is locked.

I think this amy have been the problem. Although I don't know how to turn off VD, it seems to now be off and the random calls have stopped. For now. THANKS!!
