January 26 (Sunday). I'm 34 today. And the silver is honestly creeping through my hair at an alarming rate. Hey, it can turn gray...just don't turn loose!

Wow, time sure flies. Seems like just a few years ago I was little and in school and playing with lawn darts and stuff like that.

Got a nice big day planned (I think). Culminating in dinner at my absolute favorite restaurants with some of my best buddies.

It looks as if we have one or two things in common. I'll be 34 in a couple of months and get the odd gray hair, but still snip mine out with a pair of nail scissors.
Hope you have a nice evening out at the restaurant. I thought you'd be donning your check shirt and false beard to spend a quiet evening in with Norm Abram and the New Yankee Workshop (oh, and remember this, there is no more important safety tip than to wear these, safety glasses).

A very happy birthday tae you. Strange and perplexing is it no' how the years just fly by.
I am gled tae hear that ye're no going baldy. There can be few things mare ignominious than tae be as bald as a ballbearing: shiny scalp burning back the sun's rays like polished metal: parched collar and ears longing for the days o' their youth when once they immersed themselves in a michty flowing river o' hair.
But for those ithers whose scalps are succumbing tae sterility - do not despair. Ye will note frae my photograph on page 7 that I am no' only blessed wi' a full head o' naturally coloured hair, but that I hae retained the looks o' a 16 year auld. I attribute this tae simple living, whisky and the low MHz given off by my auld Mac's 601 processor (G4 = high MHz = premature baldness; mark my wirds).
