Bout with botany
It's intersession. That means that I have a week off. Since I'm too lazy to drive home for the week, I have to find my own cheap thrills.
Two friends and I bought some cheap plants today, and we have a running competition to see which one grows the biggest. I forget the exact name of the plant, but it has broad leaves that are slightly glossy but fairly flexible. (I'll post the name when I find out).
Who has grown plants? Obviously soil, water, and sunlight are key. I went to kindergarten. But I'm in the market for fine items like plant steriods (i.e. Miracel Grow), various other nutrient products, and grow lights. . . any recommendations? what is a grow light anyway?
