Rebels in congo are resorting to cannibalism. That sounds like a human rights violation to me. What makes this kind of human rights violation any less significant than say the ones in Kosovo? Could it have something to do with the fact that we don't care about stability in Africa as much as we do in Europe? List your justifications for inaction here.

Ahh. Indeed. Why didn't I think of that? Our inaction is really an action to help stem overpopulation!

I tell ya man, there's always a way to blame the US. Always.

Hey BR I suggest you submit this important topic to the current head of the UN Human Rights Commission. Libya

I say let France do this one. They have troops in that part of the world already.

I have acted on this in a dramatic fashion by renouncing the practice of cannibalism. Act locally, think globally.

You're both an isolationist and a anti-Cannibite. Shame on you!

Why must you ruin this thread with that garbage? I'm not blaming anyone here. I'm pointing out one case where there was action and another where there is inaction. I'm looking for a good reason here.

i'd say the difference would be larger problems with Iraq and N. Korea are at the forefront. people chomping on other folks is a distant third to nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.

i mean hell, you'd have to drop hundreds of thousands of cannibals on a country to really get a decent kill ratio.

Go tell Libya. I'm sure they will care. I mean they are in charge of this stuff at the UN. And we all know the UN is the proper place to take this stuff too. You know, because they are so good at dealing this this stuff.

Go on now. Book a flight to NYC and stop posting here.

If you read my original post, you'd see I'm talking about Kosovo vs. Congo.

This is not a thread about the UN. You are off topic.

No I am on topic. That's my suggested resolution of this. Get Libya to take care of it. They're in charge of the HR committee at the UN. Question is how is Libya going to get a hijacker to crash a plane on top of these people <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Since it's your idea, why don't you go to Congo and scout out the place? You can report anything you discover back to the U.N.

It's a little known fact that Libya closely monitors the AI forums. They have read my suggestion.

I guess with all that sand they can scrounge up enough silicon to produce one.
