I saw Steve Ballmer (M$ CEO) today

When I was at the Seattle SuperSonics basketball game today, I saw Steve Ballmer. Normally when I see him, he is courtside, but this time, he was in my very own row! Hehe, I was hoping he would do something funny. All that happened was talked to his brother. Near the end of the game, we were losing so most of our row left. I was considering going and sitting next to him. Maybe ask him if he has patched his SQL Server .

Yeah, I would be like, "So how about the Power 970? Those are looking really good, aren't they Steve? Do you know what would be really cool, if you put those in your Macs! That would rock!"

A friend of mine (who also uses a Mac) sat next to Apple's general manager on a plane trip. The guy got bumped back from first class because there wasn't enough room. Anyway, my friend now has a signed business card, a little leather zippered portfolio, and an Apple logo pen to show for it



EDIT: I forgot the guy's name... anyone know who it is? He's not on Apple's page about their execs.

Yeah, I was thinking it would be funny to get pictures of him being pied. Funny until I get dragged out of the arena and "subject to arrest."



I am not sure if he noticed. A lot of them were taken when I was two rows back (I moved up to sit with my parents during the last quarter of the game). Also, he probably didn't see the ones being taken when he was walking up and down the stairs. For the pictures that were taken with an empty row between us, I rested the camera on my leg and watched the game as I clicked a few times (which actually worked fairly well). So yeah, I don't know if he noticed. I tried to wave to him, but he didn't look over at me much. He looked at his friend (is that his brother) and the game mostly.
