Time Machine Suddenly can't Backup

For the past few days I keep getting the message below, despite running Disk Utility on all my drives.





Error Message:

Quote:

The backup was not performed because an error has occurred while copying the files to the backup disk.



The problem may be temporary. Try again later to backup. If the problem persists, use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk.



Anyone w/suggestions?

    This problem just started for me last week as well. I haven't a clue why.

    Did you "use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk"?

    What was the result?
