Boot Camp and Windows Vista

I have a new 13" MacBook Pro that I am trying to install Vista Ultimate on.

Where are the drivers for Vista? My Mac OS X install DVD states in Windows that I need Windows 7 to run the software. Everything on Apple's site seems confusing....

Can I run a 32 bit version of Vista Ultimate on the new MBPs?

If so, where are the drivers??

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Just freaking install it. It's not like it won't work. You'll have to find your own drivers for some things, or just download an old copy of the Boot Camp drivers.

Or perhaps Apple honors what they provide as information to customers...

Boot Camp supports Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 (requires Mac OS X v10.6 or later and Boot Camp 3.1 or later).

The following link provided on Apple.com that clearly discusses Mac OS 10.6 and Boot Camp 3.0 makes no mention of Windows 7 only.

I do rely on some backwards compatibility for some apps. Apple apparently changed the rules with the new line of MacBook Pros without clearly stating this in their documents...

Is there a specific reason you need Windows Vista as opposed to 7?

But try installing it regardless, the drivers should work, whether built for XP or 7.

He's a masochist looking for his next fix? He likes testing alpha versions of software?
