IBM is going to make a bid for AAPL (we're screwed)
I don't know about you, but I love Altivec, I love our independence from the PC (IBM Clone), and our new UNIX lifestyle.
IBM is still the company in the 1984 superbowl commercial, even if they make our PPC processors. If IBM was in charge of Apple AAPL would be in ruins. What kind of attension would Apple get from IBM anyways if they were the main shareholders. Steve Job's would be required to be a puppet for X ammount of time to bring us cumfort and keep us in mothers arms, but the truth is IBM would neglect Apple itself, and it's users. And in the end it will all end up being 1984 wiothout our heroin.
