Finally. The snow seems to be slowing down...well the Sun's peeking through now. But its still snowing...wow.

I went out last night walking through Philly during the blizzard. Went up to City Hall...thought I'd see Bruce Willis pop-up from a sewer grating....creepy.

Anybody else digging out?

Oh, yeah man. We have a lot of snow here, probably 17 inches. When Penn State cancels class there is usually pretty bad conditions.

I wish I had snow! Having moved from New York to *sunny* California, I find the weather here to be quite boring. Sun, sun, and more sun. Oh, and did I mention that it's sunny today?

Thanks for posting those pictures. They were refreshing.

hey, we do it right in New Mexico...we had 2 feet of snow last week...but on the mountain tops, not the cities...so just yesterday i drove the family for an hour and skied some great powder and today i took a nice walk without a coat....the downside is that half of the wife's family is visiting from baltimore (four adults and two children) and they were suppose to head home tomorrow morning...now they ain't leaving till thursday...sigh, gotta remember to stop and grab some beer on the way home.....g

Any Ithacan would be impressed with this snowfall. Here in central NJ, we have 24"+ but there's no snow on the roofs. The winds have moved snow to the point that one side of my car is virtually untouched, and the other is under a pile of snow higher than the car's roof and just as deep. Granted, I remember trudging across gorges in gale force winds to prelims in that kind of weather, but then again the professors didn't make it in those cases, so I'll call it a draw.

Wow, we've got it easy. We got 1" of sleet and ice and I got out of work today and likely tomorrow.

That's the 4th snow day since December for me.

dammit, what is wrong w/ the skies above MN??? i remember we used to have blizzards like that a few years ago, now its so dry, sno wise, that they had to cancel alot of the typical winter activities around here. and the worst part is, i havent been able to take out my snowmobile for 2 years:/

Wow, the east is getting hit hard this winter. We are north of the 45 parallel and haven't had snow for about three years, maybe more. In the Pacific Northwest it just rains a lot in winter.
