iMac OS X Making strange, loud fan noise, black screen.

I left my iMac all day and overnight (by accident.) I played on it a bit this morning, and then walked away for a few hours and came back to find the screen black, and the fan making strange, fluctuating fan noises, extremely loudly. I tried to click to enter in my password and bring the screen back to life, but nothing happened. I turned it off, booted up, and it just went straight to the black screen and the fan immediately started up. I unplugged, waited thirty minutes, and tried again. Same result.



Please help me, this computer has absolutely everything on it.
