Menubar: Moving menu-lets

OK, maybe I'm a total idiot. I accept that possibility.

But before Lion, if I'm not mistaken, you held down the Cmd key, clicked on the icon, and dragged to where you wanted it to be. Now, that doesn't seem to work anymore.

Am I a moron? Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something obvious?

Any help would be incredibly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

ETA: Dammit, I didn't mean the basic menu-lets. I meant the ones you added after installation.

    Probably not.

    Nope.

Lion was too buggy for them to have released and they should have had at least a Developer Preview 7 before the GM.

But that's not as obvious as some things could be.

No problem. You're not going crazy, it's just Lion's bugginess.
