Theme - HELP!

I just downloaded a theme to try it out (with MetaMorphX) and after making note of how absolutely horrible it was, I wanted to switch back to Godiva. Of course, then, it refused to switch.

So, can someone tell me how to get the correct files for Aqua back in place so I can start from scratch? MetaMorphX does backup Aqua, doesn't it? <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

I really don't think my computer is liking me, it keeps not finding the system folder, won't mount the startup disk now, ugh.

All this because of a bloody theme.

The moral of the story: Apple needs to impliment REAL theme support in OS X NOW. I'm not using themes anymore, that's for sure.

Ugh, this theme replaces EVERYTHING! Login buttons, and all kinds of crap like that. Now I can't even log into my account, it totally ruined everything.

    That's the one.

I ended up deleting all my OS X folders and reinstalling them. Works fine now, but I'm not using any themes again.

Themes don't really give you trouble if you know what to do. And where the files are. MMX seems a little shoddy at the moment.

Yeah, and I did know some of the places, but when I replaced them with clean files, I couldn't log back in, then I couldn't restart. It was rather odd. Probably something I did.

    You should try pomegranite.

The ****er made my dock transparent, changed all of my icons, toolbar widgets, login screen, startup screen, and default background. It didn't even tell me, or say anything about it in the Read Me I saw, or on the website I got it from. And there's no way for it to change back. I didn't even know MetamorphX could CHANGE that shit!

But.. at least I like the red.

I always switch to aqua.. then switch to a theme. I notice that it backups all my file in the .PumaAqua file. Just switch back to Aqua when you're done.

It only backs up certain things for me, not all the Dock stuff and whatever. Xenogenesis changes all that stuff. And it's ugly too.
