DP G4 + DVD-R drive possible?
If I were to buy this DVD-R drive for my DP 533 G4, would I be able to:
1)Use it with iDVD 2?
2)Have both the DVD-R drive and my current CD-RW drive installed and usable at the same time? (I currently have the one CD-RW drive, a zip250, both drives internal, and two hard drives, both also internal.
3)Is my only option to switch the DVD-R with the zip250?

Yes.

Not without modifications. The lower bay only supports 3.5" devices.

That is not an option at the moment. You're only option is to switch the DVD-R with your CD-RW drive. If you're adventurous, you can modify the two front-loading drive bays in your G4 so that they accept two 5.25" drives. There were some articles at www.xlr8yourmac.com on how to do this.
