Help...trying to upgrade to 4.3.5 from an unlocked 4.2.1 and now locked

in iPhone edited January 2014

New to the board here and 1st post. I had 4.2.1 on my phone (3Gs) and deployed to Iraq. Prior to deployment, I unlocked my phone on 4.2.1 using Cydia. Now that I am back, I attempted to update it to 4.3.5 and now when it "Restores" it goes to the original "hook to iTunes" screen and is stuck on stupid from there. I have received the error code of "1015".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's no jailbreak for 4.3.5 to my knowledge. Ha ha, basically.

Either go back to 4.2.1 or wait without phone service until they unlock 4.3.5.

That last sentence was a joke. They're probably never going to do it with iOS 5 being imminent and more important.

Not trying to have it JB anymore, just want it working again. Either 4.2.1 or 4.3.5, doesn't matter to me.

    OOH, okay.

What you want to do is buy a phone plan from AT&T. That'll get it working again.

And if you don't want a phone plan, jailbreak 4.2.1 again.
