My iphone 4 caller id photo stays small even though it's taken with the iphone?

I've gone through other boards to find the answer, but I can't find it. When I set the photo for the contact (the photo has been taken with the iphone), it starts out as full screen, but then it will revert to a small photo. Is there anyway to make it stay big? I've already gone through and reset them but it keeps going back small.

    how are you syncing your Contacts ? I have Google Sync setup and I see the same issue as yours.

    Yeah, that's it then. I had my contacts in the google account because I used to have a droid. They were transferred to the iPhone through my gmail. I guess if I just re-add the contacts through the iPhone, the pictures will hopefully stay large.
