need gsm service

I have an iPhone 4 (ATT), that is less than 1 year old, that I inherited from from my brother who passed away. the ATT contract was voided by ATT without penalty! great so far. the phone works great but is currently not connected to anyone. I would like to turn it on with a data plan. Is there a GSM carrier other than ATT that I use this phone with? or am I stuck with ATT and a 2 year contract? if I want to use it.

    No. AT&T is it.



    Unless you want to jailbreak it, unlock it, get T-Mobile, and use the mobile dial-up that is EDGE.
