Upgrading a Workgroup Server 9150
I recently was given an old Workgroup Server 9150 to use as a server. I was told I should be able to upgrade it and therefore have it be suitable.
Unfortunately...I was informed yesterday that I have been given the 1st revision of the '94 machine and therefore, the daughtercard is not upgradeable. Here's what I need to know from all of you guys:
What are my options then? I mean, the case is HUGE and has a lot of server and RAID capabilties, but what can I do to get it there? Are there any motherboards of any other Macintosh or Powermac that would be able to be custom installed into the case? I realise that this would involve custom drilling and a new power supply, but I would feel horrible if I had to simply toss it away.
Please suggestions for motherboards and other upgrade possibilties.

What are you trying to achieve:
Do you want a server or a hardware hobby?
I used a 9150 for years as a webserver (I think it was the 120 tho, not the 80).
Should be fine for light duty serving of static pages and/or as a mail server.

I supposed you could run MKLinux on it as well, tho I don't know for sure.

Hope this helps.
My train of thought right now is that I might try to track down a motherboard of something like an 8600 and hopefully, with a bit of custom drilling, I can get it into the case and then give it a G3 or G4 upgrade.
