I've been expecting AI to report the story all day. While apple got flak a few months ago for supposedly collecting location data without permission (not IMO) while Microsoft claimed they'd never do so themselves, a lawsuit has been fired that claims they do just that. According to the suit, Microsoft's camera app asks whether it;s permissible to report location. But no matter what the user selects, it's ignored. Windows 7 still sends specific identifiable location info back to the home planet.

so far Microsoft has declined comment.

The lawsuit will be thrown out. This is the case for absolutely every preference, setting, and change a user can make in Windows proper.

It shows you that they are all the same, and that it in fact is organized crime.
