iMovie to Quicktime audio problems

Hello. I'm having trouble exporting a an iMovie to quicktime in OSX. The movie is about an hour long. No matter what quality I choose, by the end of the movie the audio is out of sync. If I break the movie up into 20 minute chunks, then I have no problem. It's just time consuming to do it that way. Anyone know of a solution?
