Something inside my Mac is vibrating and driving me crazy. I can't figure out what's causing it. It doesn't seem to be the fan, any of the drives, or anything really. It doesn't always do it and if I power down and restart it will sometimes go away. Oh, it's a G4 450 tower.
Thanks

How did you eliminate the drive and the fans? They are the only moving parts. What else could possibly be vibrating?
i immediately thought of the iBrator too, LoL!
Does it do it when you've got a CD in it? I've noticed some G4s around here that do that when they spin up a CD.

You sure you haven't hooked your monitor up to the washing machine?
A lot of help these guys are eh trick fall.

Well, he did say he'd eliminated the fans and drives... what else could it be? Is his Mac so powerful that the all the electrons moving in it are causing it so shake?
seb is right about the CD-ROM, though. I can sometimes hear a slight buzz from my tower when CD's aren't spinning at full speed.
