I have my aunt's Compaq laptop and my Powerbook G4/667. I need to get some files onto here laptop but don't know how to network the both with ethernet.
<strong>Your powerbook has an autosensing ethernet card so you don't need a cross over cable. You can run straight ethernet from one machine to the other.
You could turn on FTP or Apache on your Powerbook and set up a dummy TCP/IP network on both machines (enter an address manually on each machine).
Then have the Nt machine use a web browser or FTP client to connect to the PowerBook.
