SCSI Card Conflict

I have any Adaptec SCSI card that causes my DP3 software to have a stutter in it's display. Is there a way to disable the card without taking it out? Or would the problem go away if I switch PCI Slots, and if so which slots would you recommend putting my audio card and SCSI cards in?

    Do you have any devices connected to the card that are not turned on? I had a similuar problem and it turned out to be a piece of software polling my scanner that wasn't turned on.
