Since I installed Lion, Screen Sharing is so slow it's practically unusable. On my local WiFi network, it feels like dialup. Cursor disappears, incredibly slow response time.
It was working fine on Snow Leopard. Anyone else noticed this?

Are both of the computers in question fully up to date with software updates?
Have you tried disabling Screen Sharing on both machines, rebooting both machines, and then re-enabling Screen Sharing on both machines? Also, have you tried using Remote Management instead of Screen Sharing?

yes, both on 10.7.1
Try using gomeetnow desktop screen sharing service. It is very easy to use, occupies less bandwidth and hence provides good speed.
