Hey guys, I built a website for a local band and am curious as to how to make samples of their songs available so that people can hear them. I have the songs from their first CD.

Somewhat detailed suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Uh, MP3?

Easiest way to make them would be with iTunes.

actually, if you only wanted to provide SAMPLES (parts of songs), QT Pro would be your best bet (after encoding with iTunes of couse...)

I think psantora might have things a little backwards.

First, use iTunes to import the files from the CD as AIFF, not MP3. Then, use QuickTime Player (registered for Pro, or course) to trim the tracks. And lastly, use iTunes to "import" the modified AIFFs to MP3s.
