getting rid of a desk top icon

I'm having a problem getting rid of an icon that keeps showing up on the desktop. It appeared when I downloaded McSolitaire; it shows up as a drive. I can eject it; however, it comes right back when I run McSolitaire and stays until I eject it.

I've tried "Help' which, of course, is no help at all. Any suggestions?

If you dragged Mcsolitaire into the dock or created another shortcut for it, while it was on the disk image, the system has to mount the image again to run the application. You need to copy it off the disk image and put it into your Applications folder and then replace any dock icon you may have with one made by dragging the app from the apps folder. You should then be able to remove the drive and .dmg file.
