I'm using an Airport to connect my Powerbook to out school's wireless network. Running OS 9.2, I can just boot and go, but there are problems in OS X. We need to log in, but that's no problem in 9...but once I try to log in (Login is an Internet Explorer Popup), it won't authenticate my username. The settings are the EXACT same in both os's, but It just won't work. Any ideas? Does OS X do anything different in handling proxy servers?

Specs:

Airport 1.0 (Graphite)

PowerBook G3

Windows 2000 network with some proxy server set up.

It could be a problem with the OS X version of IE. Have you tried to preface your user id with the domain name?
