Apple Canada now Cheaper then Apple US?

I remember it used to be US was the cheapest place to get any Apple Products. But i just clicked on Apple Canada Store, and all the price are pretty much the same.



I used the online Google Exchange Rate calculators, and it seems $599 Mac Mini would be $570 USD .



And are there any VAT / Tax in that $599 price?
