help-fan wiring-old mac-PM5500

The chip fan on this Powermac 5500 has died & I have a smallish PC fan that will sit above th chip/heat xchanger ok BUT Apple fan plugs into 12volt on th motherboard with 1 red, 1 black w/redstripe wire, ie 2 wires. PC fan has red, black, blue wires ie 3 wires.

Please advise me as to whether i have a hope here of cooling, or am i gonna blow up?
