How to tell "Transmission" (or any app) to quit/stop if VPN drops?

My VPN drops CONSTANTLY and I'm left with my downloads or private session unencrypted



Is there any app, applescript, or other that can tell "insert app here" quit/stop when the VPN interrupts?



And possibly to reconnect and resume previous activity would be a cherry on top...

    you're going to have to write some code for that one. i have the same problem sometimes...
