Timer error

Hi! Just looking for a little help.



I have an IMAC with OS 9.0 and had been trying to install some gnutella-type software. Everything was fine until I tried to shut down and got a system timer error message. I tried to restart but I still get that message every time. I tried to start up without extensions, but alas the same thing.



Any ideas?

    I've never heard of this.



    What exactly is the error messsage?



    What exactly were you installing when it happened?



    Can you boot from your CD?

    Never mind! It actually was a type 41 error (timer synchronization), but it was fixed by just using the startup cd. Thanks for trying to help anyway!
