Installer hanging up

I am trying to install MSN Messenger(yes, bad me) now, I have just switched to a new computer. And I was trying to install MSN messenger, the whole process goes fine. then when I push the "install" button and it goes to the "One Moment..." window, quits all the apps(slowly) then it just hangs. I let it sit there for 1/2hr and nothing happened. Any ideas? I've tried trouble shooting it. Right now I am relying on fire, bleh

P.S. I tried just installing it in classic and that didn't work, which is odd because it installed fine on my old 9500, and this is a brand new iMac. (MSN 2.0 FYI)

Must be something up with the installer files, try downloading again from <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/mac"; target="_blank">Mactopia</a>.
