mail servers @mac.com down?

I haven't been able to check my @mac.com mail all day long... error being "authentication". It was working well up until last night.



Any ideas?

    nevermind... servers down for maintenance... about 20% users affected, should be back in service after 9pm pst tonight.



    From Apple:



    At approximately 4:00 PM PST 3/10/02 we will be performing maintenance and repairs on on one of our email servers. The servicing of this server is expected to be completed by approximately 9:00PM PST tonight. During this time period approximately 20% of mac.com users will be unable to access their mac.com email. Most affected users will receive an "Authentication Failed" error message. Other mac.com users will be unaffected by this maintenance.
