Boot time taking forever....
OK,
I have been playing with my new iMac and have a little problem.
the problem is I is not taking FOREVER to boot. Earlier this evening it was starting right up. but now is hangs on "starting directory services" for like 5 min.

OK, I found the problem, I was trying to get everything to understand the /etc/hosts file so i can alias all the computers on my network -- anyway, I added the locations stuff to netInfo. Heh, I don't recomend that -- I had to do it the "proper" way and add the other computers to the machines key...
Ugh, there goes an 1.5 hours of sleep. Guess it could be worse -- my tinkering in windows would loose me entire nights...or maybe I am aggressive now-a-days
