Why won't IE keep my settings?

Ever since I formatted my iBook last week, IE has been acting strange. For instance, if I click not to have it show a message when entering a not secure site, then restart my computer, it will come up again, even though I told it not too. Also, even if I sign into AI, if I restart, it has logged me out. Before, it would remember my login stuff. Anyone know how to fix this?

    sounds like a corrupt preference file.



    move your ie preferences and try again.

    Thanks. I moved the entire explorer folder and it seemed to do the trick. I'm not sure if you meant the whole folder, but it worked.

    that's not what I meant and I don't think it should matter but who am I to argue with success?
