PPP bug

Ok, this is an easy question I should know the answer too, but I don't <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

Did the .1.3 update fix the ppp bug in OS X?

If it didn't, what exactly is the bug? My mother recently ordered a new imac and she connects with a modem so if she is going to have a problem, I'd like to be on top of it.

    The PPP bug basically freezes OS X a large percent of the times you dial up. Sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for ten minutes. Sometimes longer...



    And it wasn't fixed in 10.1.3.

    Man, that is a bummer

    I can't believe they'd let a bug that big go for SO long.

    My mother is getting it because she can't stand how slow the internet is on her Performa 6400/180 (quite possibly the worst machine apple ever made).

    Well, that and she wants to get into digital photgraphy.

    Here's hoping the fix it soon!
