Open Firmware Passwording blocks Startup Commands

\tThe Open Firmware Password doo-hikey makes it so you can not start up from a CD , even if you press C. now, i want to know, can you enter your password and do this? Because you can get to the start-up manager by entering your password, and then you could choose your options. right?

Of course someone a bit more resourceful could just boot up from a cd to circumvent this, but hey, it's better than not being able to boot from a CD in an emergency.
You might email Apple for clarification on that one, though.
