Epson stylus photo 820

I bought a new imac 700 CD-RW and a new printer the Epson stylus photo820. It came with the driver for OSX. I installed the driver but am having printing problems. It seems for every new document or app I need to choose page setup and choose the epson printer. Even after this, I often get printer errors. The que says there was a communication error and I should check to see if the printer is on or connected. But when I ask the que to try again it usually prints. Its really annoying to have to go through the routine everytime I want to print. I also can only print one document at a time. Any ideas??? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    I've had repeated problems with my Epson C80 and "communication errors" in OS X 10.1.3 My solution is to stop the que, start the que, and then print (this work around usually works). Not sure why this happens, but you're not alone.
