I've got a hard drive with two partitions, on for OS 9 and one for files & misc.

My OS 9 is corrupted, so I want to reformat the partition. Is it possible to ONLY reformat the OS9 partition WITHOUT touching the other one? There's too much stuff on it for me to backup.

Thanks

Jon

well, it is not possible to reformat it, but you can erase it. start up from you Mac OS 9 CD (press "c" at Startup), the choose "Special" > Erase HD. Of course you have to select the HD first.
