PB Airport help needed

I was going to buy a new PB but all the problems over airport range have really made me reconsider. Can anyone advise on; in a household where we use Airport a lot, spread over 3 levels, getting 4 green eyes on channel 1 (UK) in almost every location, whether a new PB will noy cope.



Spending £2k to find out, is not my idea of a sensible decision.

    Am facing similar decision and considering TiBook 667 w/out Airport card and getting a Cisco Aironet PC card instead, which works under OS9, X, and also with the Airport Base.

    Iam using an airport card in a 550 mhz TI PB with no reception problem.
