Mail Designer: Buy or not?
Hi,
I have a small shop and I sell fashion accessories. I was looking for quite a time for a good software to create newsletters for my customers.
I just found Mail Designer and it looks pretty cool. It seems that you can't send mails with Mail Designer but I already have a MailChimp account and can probably import mails from Mail Designer. I have less than 2,000 subscribers and I'm not familiar with HTML and all that stuff.
The big question is now: Should I buy it or not? Does anyone have the software and can recommend it? Should I buy it through their website or in the Mac App Store?
Thanks,
Lea

I would create a(n illustrated) newsletter in Pages, or another available suitable application, save it as PDF, and send it via (bulk) email to my customers and prospects.
If you haven't got Pages or other similar wordprocessing/layout applications I would create the newsletter directly in Mail. With text, photos, and images.
For your first newsletter(s) there is, imo, no need to buy and learn new software (and run the risk that it isn't a solution to your problem).
